大日如来是十方三世一切诸佛的法身、唐密始祖。唐密曼荼罗视宇宙一切皆为大日如来法身所现。画面上方，虚空中大日如来手结智权印，四方佛围绕，与天空大地、有情众生融为一体；画面下方，地涌金莲，万物生灭，时轮运转，无始无终……

Mahāvairocana, revered as the Dharma body of all Buddhas across the ten directions and three times, is the foundational figure of Sino Esoteric Buddhism (Tangmi). Within the Tangmi esoteric mandala tradition, the entire universe is understood as an expression of Mahāvairocana’s infinite Dharma body.

In this majestic artwork, Mahāvairocana is depicted in the upper celestial space, his hands forming the Mudrā of Wisdom Fist, symbolizing his boundless wisdom and transcendent power. Surrounding him are the Four Directional Buddhas, signifying the unity of the cosmos. Together, they merge seamlessly with the vastness of the sky, the solidity of the earth, and the interconnectedness of all sentient beings.

At the bottom of the composition, golden lotuses rise from the earth, their radiant blossoms representing the cyclical nature of life and death. The flowing forms embody the eternal turning of the wheel of time, reflecting the truth of no beginning and no end. This dynamic interplay between the celestial and the terrestrial conveys the profound unity of all existence, resonating with the essence of Mahāvairocana’s teachings.

This collaborative creation, led by Vajra Master Jinke Xuanlei and his disciples, stands as a vibrant visual homage to the enlightened wisdom and compassion embodied by Mahāvairocana. It invites viewers to contemplate the infinite cycles of existence and to awaken their own Buddha-nature within the universal mandala of life.
