自爱洁心洗雪霜，冰心玉骨耐凄凉，
风嘶万朵枝犹艳，雨积一身心更强，
白雪纷飞驱暮日，红装素裹会朝阳，

Mount Sumeru Dragon Plum

Creator: Vajra Master Jinke Xuanlei
Year: 2019 (Year of the Pig)

The Mount Sumeru  Dragon Plum, a monumental and divinely inspired painting by Vajra Master Jinke Xuanlei, captures the sublime beauty of a sacred ancient plum tree from the spiritual realm of Mount Sumeru. The aged branches twist and coil with dynamic energy, resembling soaring dragons, great mythical birds, and phoenixes ascending into the heavens. Amidst swirling clouds and mist, vibrant red plum blossoms bloom, their delicate fragrance filling the universe and braving the frost of winter. Set against a luminous azure sky, the sun, moon, and stars radiate serene and compassionate light, purifying the world of suffering and illuminating the Saha realm.

The Vajra Master Jinke Xuanlei is a practitioner of Sino Esoteric Buddhism, a contemporary ambassador of peace, friendship, and universal love. His dedication to the revitalization of Chinese heritage, combined with his compassionate vision, shines through this artwork. As a lover of plum blossoms in the wind and snow, the Master often draws upon their enduring spirit to inspire individuals to cultivate integrity, perseverance, and a sense of righteous purpose. These qualities, symbolized by the plum blossom, resonate deeply with his vision of revival of Chinese traditional culture and aspiration for world peace.

In the face of adversity, the plum blossom’s purity and strength serve as a metaphor for resilience and selfless devotion. Its ability to bloom amid harsh winter conditions reflects the indomitable spirit of those who rise above challenges to illuminate the world with dignity and grace.
