公元1958年12月24日，金珂玄雷金刚上师（李宁）应世于广西宜州，出生前出现种种祥瑞征兆。《圣童应世来》描绘了李宁降生前数日，母亲梦到众多天女、童子、菩萨浮现于天空中，围绕佛陀，佛陀的光明遍照十方，庄严殊胜。她欢喜地向佛陀顶礼，金色的佛陀幻化出无数的佛，慢慢缩小……最後一个宝蓝色的光球降入到她的身中，她感到全身通红透亮。童子天女向她顶礼、赞叹，最后融化为虚空。这时，种种诵经梵唱，在耳边回响。此时从虚空中传来佛音，向她明示：你将生下一个具得无量悲心的孩子。他将住持如来正法，普利人天……

The Birth of a Boy Sage in Response to Dharma Causation

The Vajra Master Jinke Xuanlei (Li Ning) was born in Yinzhou city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China on December 24th 1958. All kinds of auspicious signs signaled before his birth. Thepainting “The Birth of a Boy Sage in Response to Dharma Causation” depicted a scene days before the birth of Li, Ning. A few days before Li Ning was do, his mother had a very auspicious dream where a Buddha was surrounded by many divas, boy guardians, and Bodhisattvas appeared in the sky. The solemn and extraordinary Buddha illuminated all ten directions. Upon seeing the Buddha, his mother prostrated to the Buddha with great happiness. As soon as she had done that, the Golden Buddha had manifested into infinite Buddhas and they all become smaller and smaller ……at last a ball beaming with royal blue light entered her body, she felt her whole body had became transparent and was glowing in red. The boy guardians and divas all prostrated her and praised her before becoming one with emptiness. At the same time, sounds of mantra chanting in Sanskrit begin to ring by her ears, while from emptiness the voice of the Buddha begun to tell her an omen: You will give birth to child who is filled with boundless mercy. He will be the one to uphold Tathagata’s Saddharma and to give salvation to heaven and earth…….
